Coventry for Intermediaries celebrates broker pledges

Published on

Coventry for Intermediaries has donated £6,940 to a local homeless charity as part of its celebrations for the 10 year anniversary of its pledges to intermediaries.

The lender made the donation to the Coventry Cyrenians – its partner charity since 2015 – based on the number of qualifying mortgage applications received in an average 48 hour period.

The intermediary team raised a further £2,638.48 for the charity by sleeping rough outside their Coventry headquarters, to raise awareness of the daily challenges faced by homeless people. This brought the total donation amount to £9,578.48.

Kevin Purvey, director of intermediaries, said: “We’re delighted with the amount raised and we’d like to thank everyone who submitted a mortgage application or made a donation. Coventry Cyrenians is a fantastic charity that provides a range of services for homeless and vulnerable people in Coventry and Warwickshire.

“We’re very proud to help them with the great work they do in our local community.

“The 48 hour charity donation was, of course, a celebration of our pledge to give 48 hours’ notice of product withdrawals. We’re looking forward to celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our other unique pledges throughout the year.”
