Countrywide Surveying Services has recorded a 100% pass rate in its latest AssocRICS assessment window, with all 13 trainee surveyors in its most recent cohort achieving qualification.
The latest results extend the company’s track record in developing new talent and underline its continued investment in attracting and supporting new entrants into the residential surveying profession.
Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), which provides property risk management, valuations and home surveys, said its training programme combines technical learning, practical field experience and mentoring to help candidates progress towards professional qualification.
The business is now preparing a further six trainee surveyors for the next AssocRICS submission window in July. Another six trainees joined the company in May and are working towards qualification later this year.
Recruitment is also under way for the next intake as CSS looks to expand its training programme and support career development within the residential surveying sector.
Sarah Chalmers-Stevens (pictured), associate director of learning & development at Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “Achieving AssocRICS standard requires a significant amount of commitment, resilience and professionalism. Every candidate in this cohort has worked hard to reach this point and should be proud of what they have accomplished.
“Their success reflects the effort they have invested throughout the qualification process and provides a strong platform for their future careers.”
“Surveying today is very different from even a decade ago. Alongside traditional valuation and inspection skills, surveyors are expected to understand a growing range of factors, from environmental considerations and building performance through to technology and data-led decision-making.
“Training programmes need to evolve alongside those demands, ensuring individuals are equipped with both the technical knowledge and practical experience required to succeed in a modern surveying environment.”
