Countrywide sells remaining holding in Zoopla

Countrywide plc has sold 9,234,473 ordinary shares in Zoopla Property Group plc at an average price of £3.17 between the period 9 August to 21 September 2016. 

The gross proceeds of the share sales amount to £29.2 million.

Following the disposal, Countrywide no longer has a holding in Zoopla.

Countrywide said its proceeds of the disposal will be used to reduce corporate indebtedness and for other general corporate purposes.
