Specialist property lender and investor Contour Capital has appointed Gordon Mackie as a director.

Mackie was formerly a relationship director with Lloyds Banking Group with oversight of over £4bn portfolio of commercial and residential property lending. He has experience underwriting and managing large and complex development and investment situations in both the commercial and residential sectors.

He said: “I am very much looking forward to joining Contour. The team has proven itself to be a dynamic and innovative source of finance in the market and is looking to further grow its portfolio.”

Scott Harvey, Contour’s managing director, added: “This is an excellent appointment. Gordon is a highly experienced corporate banker and real estate lender with a proven track record of marketing, business development and relationship management of developers, investors and other lenders, particularly in our core areas of operation.

“He will play a central role in supporting the day-to-day management of Contour and its investments, as we continue to evolve and expand.”

Using its own committed capital resources, Contour works with developers, investors and intermediaries and has funded over 30 projects with a combined value in excess of £265m.
