Complete FS’s 10th annual Lender Expo was held last week with over over 130 attendees and 20 exhibitors taking part.

Delegates came from many of Complete’s network partners, including On Line Partnership, Intrinsic, Personal Touch, L&G, Positive Solutions as well as many DA intermediaries who attended the day.

Tony Salentino, director at Complete FS, believes the importance of smaller lender events has been underestimated.

He said: “We have been holding this event for 10 years and each year, it improves in terms of content and reach. This event really gives our brokers and lenders a chance to really get to understand each other in a way that cannot be replicated at the national events.

“We have had very positive comments from both exhibitors and delegates, so we know we are doing the right thing.

“We also aim to inject some fun into the event through our charity golf event in the afternoon and the opportunity for delegates to enjoy the facilities of the Meon Valley Golf & Country Club.”

The golf event was won by Chris Fleetwood of Paradigm Consulting.

Mark Rookyard, national account manager at GE Money, said: “We had an exceptional turnout of a great number of high calibre brokers. Thanks to the brief we had from Complete FS, our marketing material for the show was spot on and the round table event worked well, even if I could have done with more time to answer some of the great questions raised by brokers in the sessions.”

Over £500 was raised in the afternoon for The Alzheimer’s Society.
