BuildStore appoints group marketing head

Michelle Lansdowne has been appointed as head of group marketing at the BuildStore Group.

Lansdowne (pictured) has experience in brand, consumer and trade marketing gained across a range of industries, including technology, construction, FMCG and manufacturing, She will be responsible for driving the BuildStore Group’s marketing strategy and activation to ensure continued growth and increased audience engagement.

The group provides services throughout the whole of the self and custom build arena including two mortgage brokerages. These comprise of BuildLoan, a specialist broker for intermediates to partner with, and BuildStore Mortgage Services, which provides advice directly to consumers.

Lansdowne said: “I am really looking forward to this exciting new chapter and have joined BuildStore at a pivotal moment. Having come from a construction background I am well aware of the challenges and the huge opportunities within the self and custom build industry.”

We have seen a big rise in demand for self and custom build and are busy preparing for the imminent launch of Help to Build which will give a massive boost to the sector.”
