Barclays cuts residential purchase and remortgage rates

Barclays has announced that it is reducing rates on a selection of mortgage products on Tuesday 29 October.

Rates are being cut by up to 26 basis points (bps) across its Residential Purchase and Remortgage range.

The changes are as follows:

Existing product decreases:

 Residential – Purchase Only

  • 4.07% Premier 2 Yr Fixed £899 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 3.96%
  • 4.10% 2 Yr Fixed £899 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 3.99%
  • 4.39% 2 Yr Fixed £0 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.21%
  • 4.29% Premier 2 Yr Fixed £899 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.11%
  • 4.30% 2 Yr Fixed £899 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.12%
  • 4.59% 2 Yr Fixed £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.33%
  • 4.64% 2 Yr Fixed £1999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £2m, Max loan £5m, will decrease to 4.38%
  • 4.29% Green Home 2 Yr Fixed £0 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.11%
  • 4.49% Green Home 2 Yr Fixed £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.23%

 Residential – Remortgage Only

  • 4.16% Premier 2 Yr Fixed £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.00%
  • 4.19% 2 Yr Fixed £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.03%
  • 4.54% 2 Yr Fixed £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.28%
  • 4.56% Great Escape 2 Yr Fixed £0 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £50k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.38%
  • 4.85% Great Escape 2 Yr Fixed £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £50k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.65%

 Purchase and Remortgage

  • 4.19% 2 Yr Fixed £1999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £2m, Max loan £10m, will decrease to 4.03%
  • 4.29% 2 Yr Fixed £1999 product fee, 70% LTV, Min loan £2m, Max loan £10m, will decrease to 4.13%
  • 4.54% 2 Yr Fixed £1999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £2m, Max loan £5m, will decrease to 4.28%
  • 5.15% 10 Yr Fixed £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 4.85%
  • 5.71% 10 Yr Fixed £999 product fee, 80% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 5.41%

Existing Customer Reward Range decreases:

Residential

  • 4.34% EMC Reward 2 Year Fixed £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.28%
  • 4.95% EMC Reward 10 Year Fixed £749 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.85%
