Assurant appoints new customer service chief

Assurant Solutions has appointed a new customer services director to its European operations centre in Cork.

Cristiano Braggion who joins from BMW Financial Services in Italy will lead the strategic and operational delivery of the claims and customer service functions for Assurant Solutions. He will also manage the business’ service network and quality assurance teams.

Braggion will report to chief operating officer, Marko Boettger.

Boettger said: “[Braggion] has excellent knowledge of the warranty and creditor markets and a wealth of experience in contact centre management. Our centre in Cork serves our operations in the UK and Ireland
