Andy Rowe has left his position as head of sales at Zephyr Homeloans after being made redundant following a company restructuring.
The specialist lending executive is now seeking a new senior role in mortgage lending, with a focus on origination, commercial strategy, proposition development and revenue growth.
Rowe (main picture, inset) brings 27 years of property finance experience spanning both lending and mortgage distribution.
His career includes leading sales for a specialist buy-to-let lender and previously running a brokerage and marketing company employing around 200 people.
SEARCH FOR SENIOR ROLE
Rowe said: “Whilst redundancy is never the news you hope for, I am incredibly grateful for the journey. The biggest highlight has been the people.
“I’ve worked alongside some phenomenal colleagues who have become true, lifelong friends. To the internal teams and the brilliant broker community who supported me – thank you for the laughs, the late-night problem-solving and the unwavering partnership.”
He added that he is “completely open, excited and ready” for his next senior position within the lending market.
Rowe said: “I love solving complex commercial puzzles, driving revenue and building high-performing propositions.
“If you are looking for an approachable, knowledgeable leader to help shape your lending strategy, let’s grab a coffee.”
BUY-TO-LET BOOK PUBLISHED
Alongside his search for a new role, Rowe has published The Buy-to-Let Playbook: 2026 Edition.
The book draws on his experience of buy-to-let underwriting, Prudential Regulation Authority stress testing and working with brokers and property investors.
Rowe is known across the intermediary market for speaking about buy-to-let mechanics through industry webinars and training sessions.
He said the book channels his experience into a detailed guide that brokers can recommend to property investment clients.
Rowe also continues to run Foot to the Floor, a driving tour business offering curated motoring trips across the UK and Europe.
The company was named Best New Driving Tour Business 2026 in the UK Enterprise Awards and has opened bookings for its 2027 programme.
