Aldermore has extended its Ratings & Reviews service to its direct to consumer mortgages products.

The Bank recently celebrated the first anniversary of inviting its savings and invoice finance customers to write a review and share their experience with others. The residential mortgages business now becomes the third part of Aldermore to publish unedited reviews from their customers.

Reviews include both positive and negative customer experiences, suggestions for improvement, recommendations and complaints. Aldermore says it welcomes customers’ honest feedback and has already made changes as a result of suggestions for improvements.

Aldermore believes that reviews are a great way of providing great customer experience for both existing and future customers, as feedback helps the Bank to make changes where they are needed. By publishing reviews, Aldermore wants to pave the way for the banking industry to be more transparent and open to consumers.

Paul Myers, COO at Aldermore, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our Ratings and Reviews service, which means that our Direct Residential Mortgages customers will be able to post their feedback and reviews of the service they receive from Aldermore – whether good, bad or indifferent.

“This is part of Aldermore’s commitment to operate as a trusted and transparent organisation. The feedback we received from our savings and business finance reviews service was immensely helpful, and we have implemented several changes as a result. We look forward to emulating this for our residential mortgages customers.”
