Aldermore has appointed Dan Summerfield as northern regional sales director of its invoice finance business.

Summerfield (pictured) is responsible for managing the invoice finance sales team throughout Yorkshire and the North West.

He reports to Nick Smith, managing director of the Northern Region.

Summerfield joins Aldermore from ABN AMRO, where for the past decade he was sales director for the Yorkshire and North East regions.

He said: “Aldermore has established itself as one of the UK’s leading invoice finance companies and I’m delighted to have joined its senior management team at such an exciting time in its development.

“Small and medium sized businesses need financial support and Aldermore has a range of products and services specifically designed to help companies gain greater control over their cashflow.”

Smith added: “I would like to welcome Dan to the Aldermore team. Dan is already well known to business owners across the north of England. I have no doubt he will be able to make an immediate impact in his new role. I would like to wish him every success for the future.”
