Aldermore Commercial Mortgages has appointed Paul Ragbourne to the position of business development manager (BDM).

Reporting to Aldermore Commercial Mortgages’ managing director Rob Lankey, Ragbourne (pictured) is responsible for providing product and service support to commercial mortgage brokers and distributors throughout the UK.

Before joining Aldermore, Ragbourne was a BDM with Santander. Prior to that, he was a branch manager with First National Bank in Wokingham and then an underwriter and sales manager with First National Commercial Bank and Abbey Commercial.

Ragbourne said: “I am delighted to have joined Aldermore, which has developed a strong reputation as one of the leading specialist commercial mortgage lenders in the UK. This is an exciting time to be joining the business, as it further strengthens both its product and service proposition for commercial mortgage brokers.

“I’m looking forward to speaking to brokers across the UK during the coming months.”

Rob Lankey added: “I would like to welcome Paul to the Commercial Mortgage team and wish him every success for the future. Paul brings with him considerable commercial finance experience, which will stand him in good stead as he builds relationships with intermediaries.”
