Aldermore has appointed Jason Davies as operational director for its group mortgages division.

He will oversee all of the mortgage operations including residential, commercial and property development, as well as looking at the long-term strategy of the mortgage operations including processes, best practice and leadership development.

The challenger bank says the newly created role is part of the wider growth of the mortgage division at Aldermore.

Davies will report to group operations director James Radford and be based across the bank’s Wilmslow and Peterborough Head Office.

He said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to own the operational strategy across the mortgage division for Aldermore. I will ensure we adopt a strategy of driving best practice, delivering more efficient processes and enhancing the customer experience.”

Radford added: “I’m delighted with the appointment of Jason as operations director, I have no doubt that his considerable experience will stand him in good stead.”
