AFI to provide “end to end” service

Published on

Abbey for Intermediaries (AFI) has made changes to its Mortgage Application Tracking System (MATS) so it can now provide intermediaries with email updates throughout the life of their client’s mortgage application, up to and including the completion of the mortgage.

Intermediaries currently receive updates when the client’s application has been received once it has been passed to the underwriter when an underwriter decision has been made when the valuation has been requested and, at the time that a first offer is produced.

Brokers will also now receive updates when the valuation is returned, the Certificate of Title has been received, the funds have been released and the mortgage has completed.

Miguel Sard , managing director of Abbey for Intermediaries, said: “We are committed to remaining the number one lender for service and this latest improvement means that intermediaries will now receive email updates at every stage of their client’s mortgage application
