Acre integrates LV= home insurance to streamline adviser process

Published on

Acre has integrated LV= General Insurance into its mortgage platform, giving advisers instant access to tailored home insurance quotes at key points in the mortgage process.

The partnership allows advisers using the Acre system to obtain LV=’s SmartQuote home insurance products directly within their workflow, removing the need for manual recommendations and helping to ensure cover is offered efficiently and appropriately.

Acre said the move enhances its home insurance panel while helping brokers meet their Consumer Duty obligations by ensuring that products are suitable, coverage is appropriate, and potential harm to clients is minimised. The integration also supports advisers in offering more comprehensive advice and generating repeat business.

Justus Brown (pictured), chief executive of Acre, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with LV= General Insurance which enables advisers to recommend the product of one of the UK’s leading insurers.

“At Acre, we are transforming the mortgage journey and embedding insurance into the workflow helps advisors save time, offer great advice and stay compliant.”

Scott McLoughlin, national sales manager at LV= General Insurance, said: “We’re delighted that our advisers can now access our home insurance product via the Acre platform making it even more seamless and simple for them to provide quotes to their mortgage customers.”
