Accord Mortgages is reducing fixed rates across its 80% loan-to-value buy-to-let range by 0.10 percentage points.
The intermediary-only lender said the changes, aimed at landlords with smaller deposits, would take effect at 8am on Thursday, August 6. Products at lower LTVs are unaffected.
A five-year fixed rate for landlords remortgaging at 80% LTV will fall from 5.67% to 5.57%. The product has a £995 fee and includes a standard valuation and remortgage legal service.
For house purchases at 80% LTV, a two-year fixed rate will be reduced from 5.91% to 5.81%. It carries a £995 fee and includes a standard valuation.
Accord is also cutting a five-year fixed rate for landlords purchasing a property at 80% LTV from 5.60% to 5.50%. The deal has a £995 fee and includes a standard valuation.
Jeremy Duncombe, managing director of Accord Mortgages, said: “We’re delighted to enhance the competitiveness of our buy-to-let range, particularly for landlords with smaller deposits.”
