Windsor Hill Mortgages rejoins Stonebridge

Stonebridge, the national mortgage and insurance network, has welcomed advisory practice, Windsor Hill Mortgages, back as one of its latest appointed representative (AR) firms.

Established in 2020, and with offices in both Bristol and Bath, Windsor Hill Mortgages is run by founding directors, Oliver and Elliot Cotterell, and has multiple RIs working across the business. The firm had been authorised by another mortgage network until this move.

The firm specialises in all types of mortgages and property finance, as well as protection and GI.

Windsor Hill Mortgages is returning to the Stonebridge network and said the primary reason for its return was its need for a network which shared its strategic vision, aligned with its goals, and was committed to active collaboration in order to bring those to fruition.

It also said the opportunity to use Stonebridge’s Revolution technology system and the infrastructure it offered the firm was another key element in its decision to join the network.

Rob Clifford (pictured), chief executive at Stonebridge, said: “We are very pleased to be able to welcome Windsor Hill Mortgages ‘back home’ to Stonebridge having recognised the significant support we provide, our commitment to supporting broker firms’ goals and ambitions, and the opportunities available to Windsor Hill within the network.

“Having worked with Oliver, Elliot and the team at Windsor Hill before, we have a strong relationship in place and we’ve already begun working closely together in order to provide them with everything they require in order to further develop and grow. It’s great to have them back within the network and to see continued examples of firms understanding how Stonebridge is best placed to meet their business needs.”

Oliver Cotterell, co-founding director at Windsor Hill Mortgages, added: “When we began exploring the option to rejoin Stonebridge we received a genuine welcome from the team there, and it was made clear to us they wanted to build a long-lasting relationship to assist and guide us towards our goals. We were looking for a network who shared our vision, who wanted to collaborate together, and who importantly had a technological infrastructure which offered a top-tier solution to deliver success for our team.

“Since we returned, that has been demonstrated already, and it has only reinforced our belief we have made the right decision in rejoining Stonebridge. There is a culture of inclusivity here, genuine care for what we are doing and what we want to achieve, and unwavering support to reach those ends. We are looking forward to continuing our journey together with Stonebridge and believe we can reach new heights and realise our goals together.”
