Virgin Money to increase range of fixed rate mortgages

Virgin Money is increasing rates on a number of mortgage products this evening (8pm on Tuesday 7 May).

It is making changes to both Exclusive and Core products.

The changes are as follows:

Exclusives:

  • Own New fixed rates will be increased by 0.10%.
  • Selected Fix and Switch residential fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.16%.
  • Fix and Switch BTL fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.10%.
  • 90% LTV Purchase fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.12%.
  • Selected 60% and 75% BTL fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.14%.
  • 65% and 75% Remortgage 5 year fixed rates will be increased by 0.15%.

Core:

  • Residential purchase 2 and 5 year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.20%.
  • 65% and 75% LTV Product Transfer 2, 3 and 5 year fixed rates will be increased by 0.10%.
