Virgin Money raises selected mortgage and product transfer rates

Virgin Money will increase a range of selected purchase, remortgage and product transfer rates from Thursday 9 April.

The changes include a 0.10% rise on 65% and 75% loan to value two-year tracker purchase rates with a £999 fee, alongside the same increase on equivalent remortgage products.

Within its product transfer range, Virgin Money said two-year fixed rates will increase by up to 0.10%, three-year fixed rates by up to 0.05% and five-year fixed rates by up to 0.10%.

Selected two-year tracker product transfer rates with a £999 fee will also rise by 0.10%.

For buy-to-let borrowers, Virgin Money said two-year fixed product transfer rates will increase by up to 0.10%, while three-year and five-year fixed rates will rise by up to 0.05%.
