United Trust Bank reveals broker promotion winner

Published on

United Trust Bank has announced that the winner of the 2015 ‘Best of British’ broker promotion is Chris Dowdeswell, founder of CD Property Finance.

He wins £5,000 of British Airways holiday vouchers.

Throughout 2015 United Trust Bank gave brokers opportunities to qualify for entries into the prize draw. Brokers could gain a ‘ticket’ in the draw in various ways including taking part in one of UTB’s broker surveys or by registering their entry at one of the many expos and conferences attended by United Trust Bank throughout the year. Dowdeswell (pictured, right) regularly completes the Bank’s broker opinion polls and earned himself several entries into the 2015 draw.

He went into United Trust Bank’s Moorgate offices to receive his prize from executive director Noel Meredith (pictured, left).

Dowdeswell said: “I’ve recently come back from a holiday in South Africa so I left behind warm days and blue skies and returned to a typical British Winter. Hearing I’d won the UTB prize of £5,000 worth of British Airways vouchers was the perfect antidote to my post-holiday blues. My hardest decision now is where to go next and whether to treat myself and my wife to some Business or First Class pampering.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Noel and the team at United Trust Bank for over 15 years and they’ve been consistently professional and supportive finance partners for the clients I’ve introduced. My relationship with UTB has always been a rewarding one and I’ve been happy to share my thoughts on the market and development industry issues by completing the occasional broker survey. Now I’ve won this prize, I’m very happy I did.”

Meredith added: “I was delighted to present Chris with his ‘Best of British’ prize and I’m sure he’ll have a fantastic time travelling the world with BA. We have worked with Chris on several developments over the years and he has always been a valued supporter of the Bank. With this prize he’ll be able to keep his tan from South Africa regularly topped up.

“I’d like to thank Chris and everyone else who supported United Trust Bank throughout 2015. Last year was another successful one for the Bank and we increased our lending yet again by continuing to develop our business across all divisions and introducing new products in new sectors. We’ll soon be revealing details of our ‘Meet the Specialists’ promotion which will continue to celebrate the ‘Best of British’ and will give brokers and property professionals the opportunity to win a number of exclusive prizes throughout 2016. Watch this space.”
