Uinsure unveils guide to help advisers “take on the aggregators”

Published on

General insurance provider Uinsure has launched its latest guide for advisers as part of its #QualityMattersMost campaign.

The new guide, entitled Beat the Comparison Sites, offers advice to brokers who may be struggling to compete against the aggregators.

Jason Berry, director of sales at Uinsure, said: “We know how hard it can be for advisers to win business against price comparison websites (PCWs). The worry with this is that homeowners who sort out their own insurance via such sites can be left with policies that aren’t suitable for them, don’t comprehensively cover their needs and leave them out of pocket in the long run.

“The recent Fairer Finance report highlighted the risk that price comparison sites can pose and, along with a number of requests for support from our advisers on how they can compete against the aggregators, that’s why we’ve created this mini-guide; featuring handy hints, key stats and a client-facing sales aid.”
