RSA has strengthened its Affinity and Intermediated Retail teams with the appointment of two people in its intermediated Personal Lines division.

Samantha Grist has joined RSA’s Personal Lines Affinity team as partnerships manager for National Australia Group and Lloyds Banking Group.  Her responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day account management and engagement of internal teams.

Joining from AJ Gallagher (UK) where she was associate director (Partnerships Division), Grist has previously held roles encompassing underwriting and customer services.

Tim Wright, RSA Personal Lines director of affinity & broker, said: “Samantha brings a wealth of relationship management experience from across the building society and financial institutions sector, and has a strong track record of building partnerships in these sectors. Affinity Partners are of significant strategic importance to RSA and Samantha’s appointment demonstrates our continued commitment to this market.”

Joining RSA’s Intermediated Retail team, Kingsley Oji has been appointed Strategic Partnership Manager for John Lewis. Previously at global health insurers Cigna, Oji has cross-functional leadership and relationship management experience from across the insurance sector. Kingsley will report to Rob Flynn, RSA’s director of intermediated retail and marketing.

Flynn said: “We’re delighted to have Kingsley on board, helping to strengthen our team and offering to our growing multi-product partnership with John Lewis.”
