The Right Mortgage has confirmed details for its flagship National Training Event, set to take place on Thursday 27 March 2025 at the Vox Conference Centre, Resorts World, Birmingham.

This year’s event, entitled “A Decade of Success, A Bright Future for All”, will mark the network’s 10th anniversary, bringing together advisers, lenders, and industry figures for a day of training, market insights, and networking opportunities.

The National Training Event will feature a range of presentations, panel discussions, and break-out sessions aimed at educating and inspiring advisers as they prepare for future challenges and opportunities in the mortgage and protection sectors.

Key sessions include:

  • Welcome address from The Right Mortgage’s directors.
  • Regulatory update from Ben Allen, compliance director.
  • Mortgage market overview from Clare Beardmore, director at Legal & General Mortgage Club.
  • Guest speaker: James Peach, global marketing leader and resilience & performance specialist.

Additionally, the event will host panel discussions covering key market topics:

  • Empowering First-time Buyers for a Bright Future – hosted by Amy Wilson, head of insurance, with panel representatives from Legal & General, MetLife, Paymentshield, and Pepper Money.
  • Driving Long-Term Growth for House Investors – hosted by Amanda Wilson, sales & recruitment director, featuring Chetwood Bank, Coventry for Intermediaries, The Source, and Vitality.

Each panel will also include adviser representatives from The Right Mortgage & Protection Network AR firms, sharing their insights on how they maximise opportunities in these sectors.

BREAK-OUT SESSIONS AND EXHIBITOR HALL
In addition to the main conference, there will be three break-out rooms throughout the day:
  • Morning: Private Medical Insurance (PMI) – featuring April International, AXA Health, and The Right PMI & Healthcare.
  • Afternoon: Later Life Lending roundtable – featuring Aviva, Canada Life, more2life, and Standard Life Home Finance.
  • The Right DA Club drop-in sessions – offering informal discussions for directly authorised members with The Right Mortgage’s DA team.

The event will also include a full Exhibitor Hall with 98 exhibitors, allowing attendees to explore new products and services, and connect with lenders, providers, and industry partners.

Following the training event, an evening dinner and Awards celebration will take place, recognising top firms, individual advisers, lenders, providers, and conveyancers, as well as awarding categories for outstanding newcomer and outstanding contribution to The Right Mortgage.

Nicola Ventrella (pictured), operations director at The Right Mortgage, said: “In 2025, more than ever before, our National Training Event promises to be the highlight of our year, as we not only have everything that the conference has become renowned for, but we also have the added benefit of getting everyone together to help us celebrate our 10th anniversary.

“As always, our focus on the day is two-fold: to provide an array of presentations and breakout sessions that educate, inform and inspire, plus we also provide access to over 90 exhibitors from all sectors who will be there to share their knowledge and expertise with those who attend.

“This is about the here and now, but also the future, outlining ideas and opportunities in a variety of different sectors while also ensuring attendees hear from an array of experts in both our market and others that can help them grow their propositions, develop their own capabilities, and ultimately deliver success.

“We always look forward to this event, but this year is truly special, and we’re excited to bring everyone associated with The Right Mortgage together in Birmingham for what promises to be an extraordinary occasion.”
