TenetSelect to hold free DA seminars

Published on

TenetSelect is holding a series of free assessing suitability seminars throughout June, aimed at directly authorised advisers.

The events are being held in response to adviser concerns over the FCA’s advice suitability thematic review.

At the seminars, TenetSelect will provide firms with key information, so they are in an informed position to ensure they meet the regulator’s requirements.

The schedule of these events is below:

  • 20 June – Leicester Marriott, Enderby, Leicester
21 June – Dakota Hotel Eurocentral, Motherwell
23 June – Village Hotel, Cheadle, Cheshire
24 June – Holiday Inn Reading, Reading
27 June – Bath Racecourse, Bath
28 June – Ramada Solihull, Solihull

Mike O’Brien, managing director of TenetSelect,  said: “We initially promoted a one-off seminar in Wakefield but based on adviser interest, we have now booked a series of seminars around the UK. Over three hours, our regulatory experts will advise firms on their systems and controls, advice register and client files, helping to give them peace of mind.

“All advisers are welcome and you don’t need to be a client of TenetSelect to attend.”
