Taylor Rose parent AIIC Group launches cloud-based practice management platform

Published on

AIIC Group, the legal services group behind Taylor Rose, FDR Law and Kingsley Wood, has begun rolling out a new cloud-based practice management platform across its portfolio as it accelerates investment in digital infrastructure to improve efficiency, productivity and client service – while creating the foundations for AI-led innovation.

Built on Salesforce technology and developed with the needs of the modern lawyer front of mind, the platform is already live at FDR Law, AIIC’s property-focused legal brand.

It will be introduced at Taylor Rose, the group’s largest firm, over the summer, with corporate specialist Kingsley Wood set to follow later in the year.

The system’s cloud-native design enables access on any device – including mobile phones – helping maximise flexibility for the group’s consultants and employed lawyers.

SCALABLE SOLUTION

By centralising client, matter and operational data into a single, scalable solution, AIIC says it will simplify workflows, reduce duplication and support central functions such as supervision, compliance, audit, complaints handling and data protection.

Crucially, the system provides the backbone for AIIC’s ambitions to adopt artificial intelligence tools such as intelligent document processing and task automation powered by AI agents – paving the way for smarter legal operations at scale.

STRATEGIC INVESTMENT

Adrian Jaggard, Chief Executive of the AIIC Group, says:  “This is a hugely important strategic investment for the group.

“Giving our lawyers and support teams the best and most productive work-life experience possible is an essential part of our strategy; if they are satisfied with our platform, our IT and central services, that will ultimately deliver better results for our clients and the business.

“The platform is already delivering great results in FDR Law and we’re confident that it will bring similar benefits in Taylor Rose and Kingsley Wood, taking away administrative and process-driven headaches and allowing lawyers to do their core jobs more effectively than ever.

“Crucially, it gives us a platform on which we can continue to scale and innovate as we look at the opportunities brought to us by AI in particular.”

SUPPORTING COMPLIANCE

Workflows have been specifically designed to support compliance, with intuitive dashboards allowing fee earners to view all necessary tasks and information at a glance. Beyond legal services, the platform is being extended to functions including client care, IT, finance, legal support and new business onboarding.

A comprehensive training programme is being delivered across the group’s locations, including video tutorials, interactive demonstrations, virtual drop-ins and on-site sessions to ensure adoption across its hybrid workforce of employees and consultants.

CONVEYANCING BOOST

The system is being customised to support the full breadth of the group’s legal specialisms.

At Taylor Rose, this includes property (including conveyancing), private client, family law, civil litigation, and commercial services.

The platform rollout marks the latest phase in AIIC’s rapid growth trajectory. The group recorded revenues of £97.3 million in the financial year ending 30th September 2024, up 16% year-on-year.

In March, AIIC was named in the Financial Times’ FT 1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies for the third consecutive year – one of just 22 UK businesses to appear in the rankings in all of the last three years.
