The Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) has revealed that all the stands have been sold for its event at Leeds Royal Armouries on 20 April.

The Expo has been supported by over 40 exhibitors including specialist lenders, building societies, retirement planning companies and industry bodies such as the FCA and the Equity Release Council.

There is also a seminar programme for which brokers, advisers and IFAs can earn Cll CPD points. Keynote speakers include Louisa Sedgwick of Leeds Building Society, Richard Deacon of Masthaven, Lynda Blackwell of the FCA, Jeff Knight of Pepper Homeloans, Gary Webster a member of the Equity Release Council and Adrian Scoates of the Nationwide.

For the first time there’ll also be a live online webinar which will be able to be viewed remotely as well as at the Expo itself. It features Stuart Wilson of More 2 Life presenting ‘The Big Picture’ about lifetime mortgages.

To complement the MBE seminars, there’s also a series of talks in the Aldermore Theatre which will cover topics such as complex buy-to-let, regulation and new build opportunities for brokers. There will also be a lunchtime panel discussion for introducers to discover more about commercial, business and development finance, run in association with Aldermore.

Mike Mikunda from MBE said: “We are very pleased that the second Leeds Expo has been fully supported by the lending and finance industry. All the stands have now been sold which demonstrates that lenders and retirement planners are keen to speak to the regions brokers and IFAs.

“Registration is free at the website and we have seen a very positive response from professionals signing up to attend, so it will be another very popular Expo in Leeds.”
