The Source appoints BDM

Source Insurance are pleased to announce the addition of has added Don Allan to its business development manager (BDM) sales team.

It increases the number of BDMs on the road to five.

Allan (pictured) was most recently with Assurant Intermediary where he was BDM for Scotland for the past seven years.

He will have sole responsibility for Scotland and Northern Ireland for Source.

Kevin Paterson, the Source’s managing director, said: “I have always been impressed with Don’s old school approach to broker service and as we know from our own research our brokers prefer face to face contact.

“We have neglected Scotland and Northern Ireland over the last year and this is something that I am keen to rectify as these are important markets for us.”

Allan said: “I am delighted to be joining such a vibrant and committed team of people who are completely focused on making it easy for intermediaries to do business with them.

“This is also an exciting time in the future development of the company and I look forward to being part of that ongoing success in the market place.”
