SortRefer posts record-breaking month for completions and revenue

Published on

SortRefer recorded its strongest-ever month for completions and revenue in October.

The Derby-based conveyancing and legal services platform, which also operates a branch in South Shields, achieved several new performance records in October, marking a milestone month across its business lines.

Instruction revenue was up 5% on October 2024, maintaining a consistent pattern of year-on-year growth. Overall conveyancing completions reached their highest level to date, rising 11% on the firm’s previous record set in July 2025.

NEW PEAK

Remortgage completions also hit a new peak, up 8% compared with the same month, while activity in standard remortgage, transfer of equity and equity release collectively rose 3% on their prior best figures from March.

Ancillary products such as wills, surveys and specialist property reports achieved record volumes too, increasing by 11% on September 2025’s previous high.

The results come as SortRefer continues to focus on service reliability and long-term relationships with brokers, areas it credits as central to its sustained momentum.

GROWING THE RIGHT WAY

Kevin Tunnicliffe (pictured), chief executive of Sort Group, said: “We’re incredibly proud to see another record-breaking month for SortRefer.

“These results aren’t just about numbers – they’re a reflection of the trust our broker partners place in us and the dedication of our team in delivering outstanding service.

“While others may focus on growth alone, we remain committed to growing the right way – through quality, integrity, and support that truly adds value.”
