Simplybiz and FIBA launch specialist finance panel

Published on

Simplybiz Mortgages and the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA) have collaborated to launch a new Specialist Property Finance Panel to support both mortgage and specialist property finance brokers.

The joint initiative provides access to a broad range of lenders operating across bridging finance, development finance, specialist buy-to-let and commercial lending, giving brokers a single point of reference when placing complex cases.

At launch, the panel includes B&W Bridging, FBSE Finance, InterBay, Market Harborough Building Society, Octopus Real Estate, Paragon, Precise, Roma, Saffron Building Society and United Trust Bank.

ACCESS AND STANDARDS

The panel represents the latest enhancement available to FIBA and Simplybiz Mortgages members, building on wider work to improve access, education and professional standards within the specialist property finance sector.

This includes the development of the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance qualification, alongside the FIBA Academy and an online Knowledge Hub.

Further enhancements are planned in the coming months, including additional technology solutions and expanded broker support.

END-TO-END SOLUTION

Martin Reynolds (main picture), Chair of FIBA and CEO of Simplybiz Mortgages, said: “Since its launch in 2021, this initiative has proven popular with, and extremely valuable to, members of both FIBA and Simplybiz Mortgages.

“The past five years have seen significant change across the specialist property finance sector and, as a result, to the support offered by FIBA.

“The reinvigorated Specialist Property Finance Panel offers an end-to-end solution for those looking to support their clients in this area.

“It features a revised lender panel, with additional technology solutions coming soon, which will allow brokers to take a whole of market view when selecting the products that best meet the clients’ requirements.”

“Brokers are absolutely fundamental to our business.”

Emily Hollands, Group Head of Distribution at OSB Group, added: “Brokers are absolutely fundamental to our business and it’s a pleasure to be part of an initiative between Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA to support brokers who are looking to evolve their businesses and explore the opportunities available in specialist lending.

“OSB Group operates in every market sector, whether it’s buy-to-let, bridging, or residential so we’re really pleased to be able to share our market knowledge and expertise as part of the Specialist Property Finance Panel at the start of 2026.”
