Shawbrook makes regional support appointment

Shawbrook Bank has recruited a new regional support executive.

Lee Warne joins its commercial mortgages division with a career background in the insurance industry which incorporated numerous markets such as leisure, vehicle and household.

As a regional support executive, Warne’s responsibilities will be centred on providing the best service for Shawbrook’s brokers, as well as working closely alongside the Bank’s field sales team covering England, Wales and Scotland.

Alongside others on the regional support desk, his will be a key role as he assists in prospecting for new leads, updating Shawbrook broker partners on product, process and policy improvements, as well as enquiry handling and individual case assistance.

Warne said: “I’ve been working near to Shawbrook for several years now, and I have watched with interest as the bank has grown from strength to strength. When the opportunity arose to attend the interview process, I didn’t have to think twice.

“After sitting down to discuss Shawbrook’s plans for the future, it soon became clear that this would be a fascinating role for me personally and I look forward to liaising closely with Shawbrook’s diverse range of broker partners. This will be crucial to improving our engagement with them going forward.”

Karen Bennett, sales and marketing director for Shawbrook Commercial, said: “We’re very glad that Lee has joined our regional support desk with Shawbrook broker partners set to benefit from this much-needed additional resource.

“I am confident that Lee is a cultural fit for the bank, and that his presence and skill-set will be highly useful for our brokers as we move into what promises to be an exciting 2016 for the commercial mortgages division.”
