Shawbrook makes commercial marketing hire

Published on

Shawbrook Bank’s commercial mortgages division has appointed George Young in the newly created role of communications executive.

Young will be responsible for driving the primary communications strategy with Shawbrook’s broker partners. As well as this he will be supporting the marketing team in a variety of duties including the production of marketing support material for brokers to be distributed via Shawbrook’s large field sales team.

He said: “It’s an exceptionally exciting time to be joining Shawbrook, especially given the recent product enhancements, process improvements and the regulatory change pre-occupying the industry.

“Shawbrook is a lender that moves swiftly to accommodate the needs of a fast paced market- an environment I look forward to working in.”

Jim Moulton, head of marketing & broker engagement for Shawbrook Commercial, added: “I’m delighted to welcome George to the Shawbrook family and look forward to his contribution. This additional resource will go a long way to delivering additional marketing support for our broker partners – an area that research has shown to be of key importance to brokers transacting business in this space.”
