Shawbrook Commercial hires lending manager

Shawbrook Bank has revealed that Stewart Paine has joined the commercial property team as lending manager.

He will specifically be looking after specialist buy-to-let mortgage applications.

Paine (pictured) has been in the banking sector for a number of years, spending the last six at Coutts.

He said: “I like that Shawbrook offers a far more tailored service to their customers than the more traditional high street banks. By using their specialist knowledge and taking each customer’s personal circumstances into account before making a decision, they take a pragmatic approach that has built up an excellent reputation in the industry.”

Emma Cox, sales director for Shawbrook Commercial, added: “Shawbrook is a champion of the broker market and of just how effective this community is in delivering for the professional buy-to-let investor. Stewart’s appointment marks not only our commitment to our brokers and their clients, but also our confidence in the buy-to-let market as a whole.”
