Shadow minister to talk at AIFA bash

Shadow pensions minister, Nigel Waterson MP, will be the latest Conservative MP to speak at an Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) family event.

He will be the keynote speaker at its annual dinner at Plaisterers’ Hall on 17 November, marking AIFA’s 10th anniversary.

Also speaking will be AIFA chairman, The Rt. Hon John Gummer MP.

Chris Cummings, director general of AIFA, said: “Nigel is at the forefront of Conservative thinking on pensions so we are delighted to have him speak at our annual dinner. The industry has faced considerable challenges over the past year and will continue to do so in the coming months. It is a particularly important time in the run up to the next election
