Published on

Scottish Provident has been awarded the maximum five star rating by Defaqto for its critical illness product for the eighth year running.

The rating applies to Scottish Provident’s Self Assurance range of critical illness cover, including critical illness level term, critical illness decreasing term and critical illness stand alone insurance, all of which are available through intermediaries.

Jennifer Gilchrist, senior product development manager at Scottish Provident, said: “The Defaqto ratings are a great way for advisers to compare and assess the huge variety of very different critical illness products that are available. Being recognised as having one of the best quality products in the market is really important to us.
