Santander cuts rates across higher LTV fixed and tracker mortgages

Santander has reduced rates across a range of first-time buyer, home mover and remortgage products by up to 0.27%.

The changes, which take effect from Friday 20 May, apply to selected fixed-rate and tracker products, with a focus on higher loan-to-value lending.

The bank said the revised range includes several remortgage products, including a 60% LTV two-year fixed rate at 4.62% with a £999 fee, a 75% LTV two-year fixed rate at 4.74% with a £999 fee, and a 90% LTV two-year fixed rate at 5.15% with a £999 fee.

The reduced rates are available to customers applying through a broker or direct, under Santander’s no dual pricing pledge.

FIRST-TIME BUYER RATES

For first-time buyers, selected 85% to 95% LTV two-year fixed rates are being cut by up to 0.15%, with rates starting from 4.81%, carrying a £999 fee and £250 cashback.

All 85% to 95% LTV three-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.23%, with rates starting from 4.90%, also with a £999 fee and £250 cashback.

All 90% to 95% LTV five-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.14%, with rates starting from 4.89%, with a £999 fee and £250 cashback.

The 90% LTV two-year tracker is being reduced by 0.10% to 4.95% with no fee.

HOME MOVER RATES

For home movers, selected 85% to 95% LTV two-year fixed rates are falling by up to 0.24%, with rates starting from 4.84%, with a £999 fee and £250 cashback.

All three-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.23%, with rates starting from 4.63%, with a £999 fee and £250 cashback.

All five-year fixed rates are being cut by up to 0.21%, with rates starting from 4.52%, carrying a £1,999 fee and £250 cashback.

All two-year tracker rates are being reduced by up to 0.19%, with rates starting from 4.22%, with a £999 fee.

REMORTGAGE RATES

Across Santander’s remortgage range, all two-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.25%, with rates starting from 4.57%, with a £1,999 fee.

All three-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.17%, with rates starting from 4.74%, with a £999 fee.

All five-year fixed rates are being cut by up to 0.14%, with rates starting from 4.61%, with a £1,999 fee.

All ten-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.22%, with rates starting from 5.02%, with a £999 fee.

All two-year tracker rates are being reduced by up to 0.27%, with rates starting from 4.30%, with a £999 fee.
