Sales promotion at Fleet Mortgages

Fleet Mortgages has appointed Ian Hawes as a new internal sales team leader.

Hawes (pictured) has been promoted to the role having initially joined the buy-to-let and specialist lender as a sales executive in October 2015. Prior to this he was a commercial insurance sales adviser.

He is now responsible for managing five sales executives within the internal sales team, and he will also be responsible for the recruitment, training and development of the telephone sales team.

Hayes will be looking to develop new and existing relationships in order to maximise new business potential, and will be charged with maintaining the service levels and response times of his team.

Bob Young, CEO at Fleet Mortgages, said: “Where possible our policy at Fleet Mortgages is always to promote through the ranks, where that promotion is merited. In the case of Ian we are delighted to be able to announce his new position as team leader of the internal sales team.

“Since joining us Ian has shown all the skills and attributes necessary to take on this role and to excel in it. He will now be focused on managing his team and developing the strong relationships we have with a growing number of stakeholders.”
