Saffron for Intermediaries appoints BDM

Anita Arch has joined Saffron For Intermediaries as a business development manager.

She will report to Peter Izard, head of mortgages and is tasked with helping to develop Saffron’s business relationships with its panel of distributors, with particular responsibility for Legal & General.

Arch has previous worked for firms such as C&G, Halifax and Legal & General.

She said: “I’m delighted to have joined Saffron Building Society at such an exciting time in its development.

“The launch of Saffron For Intermediaries is a very tangible sign of Saffron’s commitment to the intermediary sector and I’m looking forward to helping the Society build its presence in the broker mortgage market.”

Izard added: “I would like to welcome Anita to the Society. I have no doubt that with her experience and expertise, she’ll be able to make an immediate impact in her new role.”
