Barbour, previously chief commercial officer, said: “Naturally, I am delighted to be taking on this role and look forward to working closely with Brian over the coming months as we roll out our plans for 2026 and beyond.”

Pitt added that the move represented “a natural and positive evolution” for the business. “John has played a central role in our growth and success, and his leadership, energy, and commitment to our clients and people make him the ideal person to guide the company through its next chapter,” he said.

Rockstead, which Pitt founded and has led since its inception, provides independent audit, due diligence and risk management services to clients across the financial services sector. The company said it remains focused on maintaining its reputation for reliability, expertise and innovation as it continues to build on its established position in the market.
