Right Mortgage & Protection Network marks International Women’s Day

Published on

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network is marking International Women’s Day 2026 by highlighting progress on gender equality and reaffirming its commitment to inclusion across the mortgage sector.

The network said the day provided an opportunity to recognise how far the industry has come, while also reinforcing the need for continued progress within both its own organisation and the wider financial services sector.

As part of the celebrations, Nicola Ventrella, operations director at The Right Mortgage & Protection Network, will speak at Legal & General’s International Women’s Day event, titled “Together We Rise – Celebrating Women & Male Allies”.

Ventrella will be joined at the event by The Right Mortgage & Protection Network managing director Ben Allen, who will attend as an ally.

The event will bring together senior figures from across the mortgage and financial services sector to discuss representation, progress and the role allyship can play in driving meaningful change within the workplace.

BEYOND THE ROOM

Ventrella will take part in a panel discussion titled “Beyond the Room: Stories of Progress and the Actions We Accelerated”, which will examine practical steps organisations have taken to advance inclusion.

The agenda for the full-day event also includes an “I Am Remarkable” workshop focused on challenging bias and building confidence in self-promotion, alongside a panel debate titled “Stronger Together: Building a Culture of Allyship”, which will explore the role male allies can play in supporting equality across the workplace.

The network said events such as these remain important for maintaining momentum around inclusion and for creating opportunities for open discussion and collaboration between women and male allies across the sector.

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network said it aims to reflect these values within its own business, highlighting an equal workforce and board split as well as the absence of a gender pay gap.

The firm added that it plans to launch its own event for female appointed representative firm business owners later this year, with further details to follow.

CALL TO ACTION
Nicola Ventrella

Ventrella said: “International Women’s Day is both a celebration and a call to action. While progress has been made, continued collaboration is essential to ensure lasting change.

“At TRM, we’re committed to leading by example, with equal representation across our workforce and Board and no gender pay gap.

“Events like ‘Together We Rise’ play an important role in deepening allyship and accelerating positive change across our sector and I’m honoured to be taking part.

“At TRM we’re excited to continue the momentum that can be generated by such events, with the launch of our own later this year.”
