RAW Capital Partners strengthens sales team with two promotions

Published on

RAW Capital Partners has promoted two members of its Guernsey-based sales team in recognition of their contribution to the growth of the firm’s mortgage proposition.

The investment management company, which operates the RAW Mortgage Fund, specialises in providing tailored financial solutions to foreign nationals, UK expatriates and Channel Islanders.

Harry Burrett (pictured, left), who joined the firm at the end of 2023, has been appointed head of intermediary sales. In his previous role as business development manager, he was credited with ensuring brokers fully understood the company’s offer and with helping the business navigate challenging market conditions.

In his new position, Burrett will lead the intermediary sales function, focusing on its continued growth and ensuring its alignment with the needs of brokers and international investors.

Also promoted is Harry Downer (pictured, right), who moves from sales development representative to business development executive. Having joined at the beginning of this year under Burrett’s guidance, he has built new relationships with mortgage clubs and networks. He will now manage his own intermediary accounts while supporting the broader sales strategy.

The promotions follow recent changes to the RAW Mortgage Fund’s proposition, including raising the maximum loan-to-value from 55% to 70%, reducing rates and simplifying risk-based pricing.

Burrett said: “We’ve already made our mark among brokers, and I’m delighted to be building on that momentum in the months and years ahead.

“As ever, my focus will remain on strengthening our broker relationships and ensuring our proposition continues to meet the needs of clients and intermediaries alike – whatever the market throws at them.”

Downer added: “It’s been a rewarding journey so far, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to take on more responsibility as the business continues to grow.

“I’m looking forward to developing deeper relationships with brokers and helping more clients access the tailored solutions we provide.”

Tim Parkes, chief executive of RAW Capital Partners, said the promotions reflected the strength and capability of the sales team in helping brokers and borrowers navigate a complex economic and investment landscape. He added:

“Both Harry Burrett and Harry Downer have made a significant impact since joining RAW Capital Partners, and I’m confident they will continue to drive the growth of our intermediary relationships in their new roles.”
