Guernsey-based specialist lender RAW Capital Partners has promoted three members of staff across its operations and finance teams as it continues to expand its mortgage proposition.
The business, which has 10 years’ experience providing bespoke mortgages to foreign nationals, UK expats and Channel Islanders investing in UK buy-to-let property, widened its criteria in December 2025 to include lending to UK residents.
The latest promotions see Travis Mechem move into the role of new business manager, Kirsty Mauger become mortgage manager, and Shireen Punia take on the position of assistant finance manager.
Mechem (pictured) joined RAW Capital Partners’ new business team three years ago and will now manage the lender’s team of underwriters.
He will oversee the efficiency and responsiveness of the new business function, with responsibility for maintaining service standards for brokers and borrowers.
Mauger (pictured), who has been with the lender for more than five years, has worked across the full loan lifecycle.
In her new role as mortgage manager, she will oversee post-completion transactions, including renewals and repayments, with a focus on borrower experience throughout the term of each loan.
Punia, who joined two years ago, steps up to assistant finance manager. She is responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders and supports the day-to-day running of the finance function. She is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification.
Kate Gibson, head of people at RAW Capital Partners, said: “It’s a real pleasure to recognise the progression of Travis, Kirsty and Shireen.
“Each of them has grown significantly in confidence, judgement and impact over recent years.
“These promotions reflect not only the contribution they’ve already made, but the trust we place in them to help shape what comes next for RAW.
“When our people grow, the organisation grows with them.”
Tim Parkes, chief executive officer of RAW Capital Partners, added: “These promotions reflect the depth of talent across our business and our commitment to developing our people.
“Travis, Kirsty, and Shireen each play a vital role in ensuring we deliver the speed, flexibility, and reliability that underpin our offering, something that has become particularly important following a range of product changes and process improvements.
“I want to thank each of them for their continued dedication, expertise, and commitment to delivering an excellent service, and I look forward to watching them flourish in their new roles.”
