PTFS partners with iPipeline

Personal Touch Financial Services has announced a new partnership with technology supplier iPipeline to integrate the SolutionBuilder protection quotes system with its own Toolbox technology.

Together with the MortgageSource integration announced earlier in the year, the new SolutionBuilder service comes as a member inclusive benefit. The intention is for it to provide further time-saving efficiencies for advisers and therefore allowing greater time to be spent with clients.

SolutionBuilder is an online protection research, quote and application solution which allows advisers to compare both simple and complex protection needs within a simple quote request. Single and multi-benefit products are supported by the new service, enabling quick identification of the best protection solution based on a client’s specific needs.

SolutionBuilder will be fully integrated with Personal Touch’s own bespoke Toolbox technology solution, allowing automated pre-population of client data from its universal fact-find into the new protection service and automatically saving compliance documentation against client records.

Ian Teague, managing director of iPipeline UK, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as Personal Touch Financial Service’s preferred protection integration partner, delivering SolutionBuilder to their members. This will allow their members to research, quote and apply in a faster, more efficient way, with the ability to upsell and cross-sell and to compare multi-benefit against single benefit products in a single view, enabling better covered clients.

“Since launch earlier this year, SolutionBuilder users have experienced an overall increase in income protection being sold but more specifically an increase in both average monthly premiums at 10.8% and average benefits per client at 17.9%. We look forward to working with Personal Touch Financial Services to achieve further benefits.”

Charlotte Nixon, protection propositions manager, added: “Choosing to partner with the industry’s best of breed technology suppliers to create a market-leading adviser technology solution is vitally important to us. Our members are already impressed with the functionality of our own Toolbox system and partnering with the team from iPipeline we can bring together the very best protection solutions.

“Our focus was to create a simple and efficient process for providing protection advice, ensuring our members have the tools they need to deliver full holistic protection solutions quickly and easily. We are really pleased to have completed the new SolutionBuilder integration work and already very excited about the additional benefits it will bring to our adviser firms and their clients.”

A series of training events, webinars and roadshows will be available to Personal Touch advisers to ensure they are confident in using the new service and made aware of the multiple benefits which it will provide both to firms and to their clients.
