PropertyReclaim.com has published its fixed pricing service in a move designed to improve transparency.

Repossessions lawyers Moore Blatch set up the website-based legal service last year to help landlords and their advisers resolve issues with tenants.

PropertyReclaim.com uses the technology platform that has handled over 30,000 repossessions, and aims to drive efficiencies and “vastly improved legal services pricing”, it says.

Examples of costs from the fixed price menu include:

  • Letter before claim (rent arrears only) £10
  • Notice seeking possession for breach of tenancy – Section 8 £55
  • Issue proceedings against trespassers £715
  • Instruct Bailiffs (with Property Reclaim) £170

Paul Walshe, head of Property Reclaim, said: “Reclaiming property from problem tenants can be a lengthy and expensive process and one that has often lacked transparency.

“We have developed this pricing structure for landlords and their agents so that they know what costs they are facing.”
