Pluto Finance completes £2.5m commercial refurb loan

Pluto Finance has funded the refurbishment of a commercial property in Basildon, Essex, to the tune of £2.5m.

The property consists of industrial, office, and warehouse space.

This transaction marks Pluto Finance’s second deal with the Essex-based developer SJT Developments.

With the refurbishment of this property, the borrower aims to enhance the industrial and office space offerings in Essex.

Legal counsel was provided by TLT law firm.

EXPERTISE

Pluto said that the project shone a spotlight on the borrower’s focus on the commercial property market and their expertise in transforming properties to maximise their value.

Simon Chapman (pictured), lending director at Pluto Finance, said: “We are pleased to complete our second transaction with this client, which has demonstrated their diverse business experience in the property sector.

“This loan will support their refurbishment plans for a key commercial property in Basildon, further contributing to the region’s development, something we at Pluto Finance care deeply about.”
