Phoebus has renewed its ISO 27001 accreditation, achieving recertification to the updated 2022 standard as it continues to strengthen the resilience of its SaaS mortgage servicing and lending platform.
The revised framework, introduced in 2022, expands information security management controls to address the risks facing modern cloud-based systems. It places greater emphasis on areas such as threat intelligence, cloud-native infrastructure, data leakage prevention and incident response – all regarded as critical to safeguarding client and customer data in today’s digital environment.
Phoebus has held ISO 27001 certification for almost 10 years, and the latest recertification underscores its commitment to maintaining robust protections against evolving cyber threats.
Warren Higgins (pictured), chief information officer at Phoebus, said: “For us, ISO 27001:2022 isn’t simply a certificate for the wall. It is the blueprint we follow every single day to keep our platform secure.
“The process challenged us to scrutinise emerging threats like never before, particularly in cloud security and threat intelligence. It was a demanding effort, but one that fundamentally strengthens the resilience and trustworthiness of our SaaS offering for every client.”
Phoebus argues that the accreditation provides further reassurance for lenders and financial services providers using its platform that their operations are supported by internationally recognised standards in information security.
