Paymentshield unveils Fantasy Football

Published on

Paymentshield has launched a Fantasy Football competition for mortgage brokers, to run alongside the World Cup.

The competition is open to all intermediaries from participating networks who are registered with Paymentshield and, with the tournament kicking off on 14 June, brokers have just under a week to pick their team of 11 players to compete in the league.

Each participant can make up to 30 changes throughout the tournament and the champion will be the person with the most points after the final whistle on 15 July.

Brokers are also invited to create their own mini-leagues, giving them the option to have inter-office rivalries with their colleagues.

James Watson (pictured), sales director at Paymentshield, said: “We think it’s a great opportunity to celebrate the World Cup by offering Paymentshield-registered advisers a fun competition. After two previous fantasy football competitions and how well they were received, we wanted to provide another opportunity for advisers to enjoy a bit of friendly football rivalry.

“It’s great fun and hopefully our entrants are more Klopp than flop. Fingers crossed England don’t end up getting knocked out in the first round!”

Brokers can sign up by visiting www.paymentshieldfantasyfootball.co.uk.
