Paradigm adds the Earl Shilton to lender panel

Published on

Paradigm Mortgage Services has added the Earl Shilton Building Society to its lender panel.

Members firms now have access via Paradigm to Earl Shilton’s range of mortgages, which cover a range of sectors including mainstream residential – purchase and remortgage, first-time buyers, interest-only, part and part, lending into retirement and those working in later years – up to age 85, and self-build.

The society assesses applications and underwrites each case individually; it does not credit score and offers flexible underwriting for both the teaching and medical professions.

The Leicestershire-based society also allows overpayments up to 20% per financial year, will consider properties subject to agricultural ties and Section 106 properties.

Paradigm member firms can secure access to Earl Shilton’s application form, latest products, KFI-plus request form, and online affordability calculator spreadsheet by registering in its private intermediary section at: www.esbs.co.uk/log-in

John Coffield, head of Paradigm Mortgage Services, said: “Advisers know the value of a lender which can look at a case individually and treat it on its merits rather than adopting a ‘computer says no’ approach. This is certainly the underwriting procedure operated by Earl Shilton Building Society and, along with its ability to lend in a variety of specialist areas, means it is will be a valuable addition to the Paradigm lender panel.

“We are always looking for partnerships with lenders who have a strong service ethic and are willing to go that extra mile in order to support advisers and their clients. Again, Earl Shilton score highly here plus it is a lender that has options for clients from first-time buyers through to those in later years and retirement, and a great number of borrowers in between.

“We are looking forward to working with the team at Earl Shilton and believe our member firms will find much to interest them in its mortgage proposition.”

Paul Tilley, chief executive of the Earl Shilton Building Society, said: “We are delighted to have been added to the Paradigm lender panel and believe that our service offering will further enhance the distributor’s already strong and diverse proposition. We look forward to working closely with John and his team for the benefit of Paradigm’s intermediary members.”
