Palatine Private Equity has completed a “significant investment” into My Pension Expert following approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

My Pension Expert is an at-retirement adviser, with its telephone and video-based services allowing the company to provide independent financial advice on a national scale.

Palatine’s investment will accelerate My Pension Expert’s growth plans as the business aims to ensure people of all wealth brackets can receive independent financial advice and achieve their desired retirement outcomes.

As part of the process, My Money Expert also completed a debt refinancing with Beechbrook Capital. The new package from Beechbrook includes potential for additional funds to be made available to the business to facilitate further expansion in the future.

Palatine’s investment was confirmed in May 2022, with FCA change of controller approval being granted at the end of July.

The refinancing of the company debt with Beechbrook Capital will provide further support to accelerate the growth of the business and allow My Pension Expert to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
