Pair of appointment for Ageas Insurance

Ageas Insurance – previously Fortis Insurance – has manned two appointments in its Personal lines business.

In claims, Ageas has appointed James Langdown as claims fraud controller. He has over 14 years industry experience and joins Ageas from Allianz where he held the position of fraud operations controller. Before moving to Allianz, he previously held positions at Fortis specialising in claims management where he was with the company for 12 years.

In his capacity as claims fraud controller, Langdown will focus on developing and maintaining a ‘fraud aware’ culture through leadership and support to the claims teams, in the identification, handling and mitigation of fraud across the Ageas non Motor claims departments.

Neil Walker has been appointed to the position of motor underwriting manager, from Allianz where he previously held the role as head of product and quality, retail. He has over 30 years experience, and will focus on managing the development of Ageas’s private motor and commercial vehicle portfolios.
