Pair appointed to Shawbrook’s commercial sales team

Shawbrook Bank has appointed Ade Akande as sales operations manager and Paul Cater as sales and project support Executive within its commercial mortgages division.

Akande has six years of financial service experience at banks such as Barclays and the Co-operative Bank, as well as three years consulting as a business intelligence consultant for a large IT firm.

Cater has previous experience at Shawbrook as a sales administrator and will work with the Commercial Mortgage Regional Support Desk to provide project support to the whole team and coordinate with sales and marketing projects.

Karen Bennett, sales and marketing director for commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank, said: “Both of these roles are part of Shawbrook’s focus on continually improving our processes, operations and framework to ensure that our broker partners receive the best possible service.

“Ade and Paul bring a wealth of experience to the team, and are already helping to build efficiencies across our offering.”
